Cash, currency exchange and credit card usage in Slovenia

Credit cards are accepted in almost all shops, restaurants and services.
Cash (in EUR) can be withdrawn from ATM's by Cirrus/Maestro bank cards (low fee) or credit cards (higher fee).
You can change foreign currencies in exchange and post offices; many are closed on weekends so this option is not very practical.

Bled taxis

By car: from the airport turn left an follow directions to Jesenice. After 30 km turn right to Bled. Once in Bled, follow the road signs to Ribno (south of the main road). The Hotel Ribno is situated at the very end of the village.

By bus:

The travel from the airport to Ljubljana takes 30 minutes, shuttle buses are parked just across the street of the arrivals hall. The last stop is at the main bus station in Ljubljana from where you can take a bus to Bled. Buses from Ljubljana depart for Bled every hour (Saturdays) and every two hours (Sunday). Travel time to Bled is aproximately 80 minutes.

Hotel Ribno is about 3km from the Bled bus station.
